There are quite a few ways I could use $100 to make the world a better place. I think my favorite though, is feeding the hungry. Most people think of hunger as something that strikes the poor third world countries. That assumption is completely wrong because each and every day in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and other modern countries, thousands upon thousands of people go hungry. Working adults, children, and the elderly are all suffering from this preventable malady. Someone working alongside of others may never suspect that a co-worker hasn’t had a proper meal in days or weeks.
I could also use the money to buy supplies for the humanitarian program I am a part of. More stamps, more envelopes, and paper for my printer so I could solicit donations and turn the initial one hundred into so much more! Even one hundred dollars could help me start the community food and clothing closet I have been planning for the past several months. With the extra money, I could stock the canned and dry foods I need to help the hungry in my own area, plus hit some yard sales to find decent and usable clothes for the ones who need them.
